FCA Phoenix

This weekend was incredible.  We really enjoyed spending time with you all in the van and running into the other three vans along the way.  We were also thrilled to see atleast four other teammates who were running on other teams! 

Please keep the Brophy runner who was struck by a car in your prayers.  He is in critical condition, not expected to recover.  God's will be done.  May his family, as well as the driver of the vehicle that hit him, have God's peace through this.

Running along with wonderful Christian athletes was a blast this past weekend at Ragnar Relay Del Sol. It was my first introduction to the FCA and had no idea this organization existed until my good friend Doug invited me to join your team. Honestly I had a lot of fear of not knowing how we were suppose to run from Prescott back to Tempe in two days, but I surrendered my fears and anxieties to God and ended up having a tremendous time. I have not quite reached my full year since I started training for endurance events and feel encouraged that I could hang with great athletes such as I met with all of you representing the FCA. God works in mysterious ways and brings people of all walks of life together for a reason. We must be opened to receiving the message and purpose for learning and guidance at every moment in life. Thank you all for making this race a memorable experience. May God bless Robby in his return to our Creator in Heaven.
